"I find Focusing to be profoundly moving. I discover long lost parts of myself and feel excited again about my life."

             - Olivia

Focusing is not a form of treatment, but rather a self help skill that can be learned. Sessions evolve with facilitation within a structure. The opening phase serves to make space for the experience. This is followed by the 'main event' where your inner work happens. Then comes a closing phase to give you a feeling of completion and allow for integration. Within this framework your session is all about you and your needs. Feelings of awe, warmth and lightness right after a session are a good indication that Focusing is working for you.

In Focusing, you are welcome to be just as you are, to include all aspects of yourself. If you prefer to keep some things private, this is fine since Focusing works even without the facilitator knowing the specifics.

Creating happiness and health is like tending a garden. It requires strategic planning, a strong foundation and frequent attention. For this reason, I recommend weekly sessions continuing over several months. The number and length of your sessions is determined by you, based on your needs, and the value you place on my involvement in your process. I prefer to work in depth with you until you experience a positive shift.

Sessions work well in person as well as by phone. I am available to facilitate Focusing sessions in person at Studio Bliss, as well as internationally by phone.

Journaling, meditation, or expressive art work can further support your learning and healing process in between sessions and I recommend it.
