Sessions evolve experientially as both of us sense into what is
needed. No two sessions are alike. Working in this way may feel
like exploring new territory. To begin with you might tell me what
is going on in your life. I might propose gentle touch. You might
find that works for you. Then, perhaps you notice that it actually
would feel better if I just cradle your neck today. Throughout the
session we continue to cultivate this kind of sensing for what is
needed in the present moment. There is never anything you must
endure “because it’s good for you”. What you are not wanting
is just as important as what you are wanting, and learning to
express what moves you from within might be your key healing
experience.
I recommend an introductory series of three sessions to find out if we are a match. Depending on the needs you are aware of when you start your journey, we might focus on one modality or on a specific problem. Between sessions, I suggest you schedule time with yourself to integrate your experience. Integration practice will help you to achieve the changes you desire in your daily life more easily. Avenues to enhance integration include journaling, exercises, meditation, and expressive art work.
